The team operate from a 3500 square foot workshop with some of the most modern and up to date equipment in New Zealand. Motor Preparations have the experience and facilities to undertake almost any preparation or restoration job you can throw at them.
Reconditioning
Full machine shop on site.
Cylinder head modifications including
porting & polishing, engine modifications
i.e. Modifying of sumps,
alloy and tig welding and more.

OEM – Performance
We supply a large range of engine parts
including OEM, race and aftermarket products.
From nuts and bolt kits, engine kits,
heads and Lucas oil.
Testing
We have a full engine dyno on site.
Once an engine is built we run it up,
fully test and prepare it for use.

We have a proven history on the track, and at the lake, of building and restoring engines, whether it is a classic vintage engine, hot rod engine or a fully speced race engine.
We also welcome all other engine repairs be it a tractor, diesel engine or your family car.
